Sharing Mo‘olelo is a vibrant live storytelling series at Kahilu Theatre, featuring community voices sharing personal stories, ike kupuna, and reflections grounded in Hawai‘i’s oral tradition. Each Sharing Mo‘olelo event features new stories from different members of our community.

Designed especially for Hawai‘i Radio Hour (HRH), hosted by Naka Nathaniel, Kolby Akamu Moser, and Mileka Lincoln, the Hawai‘i Radio Hour takes listeners on thoughtful journeys through place, culture, and creativity. Stories shared during these "live taping" events will be featured on the Sunday 4PM HRH segments on HPR‑1.

Join us as we weave together the fabric of our island’s identity—honoring the past, sharing the present, and shaping the future—one story at a time.

Sharing Mo‘olelo Guests for September 11 include:

  • Chef Ippy Aiona
  • Alan Gartenhaus
  • Elizabeth Pickett of the Hawai'i Wildfire Management Organization
