Feel the beat and move your soul with Fara Tolno, master percussionist and internationally acclaimed musician, as he brings the powerful rhythms of West African drumming to Club Kahilu.

Born in Guinea and steeped in the rich musical traditions of his homeland, Fara delivers an exhilarating live performance full of energy, improvisation, and infectious groove.

With his ensemble of top-tier percussionists, Fara blends traditional instruments like the djembe with contemporary flair, creating a vibrant soundscape that invites everyone to dance, connect, and celebrate. His music speaks across cultures—deeply rooted, rhythmically complex, and absolutely joyful.

Prior to the event, Fara will also be facilitating an African Dance class to get you warmed up for the dance night!

African dance combines movement, rhythm, and music—inviting connection, energy, and shared expression.

Each dance reflects the history, values, and identity of a specific African culture, emphasizing unity, energy, and communication between dancers, musicians, and the community.
