Rush's music is a vibrant blend of blues, soul, and funk, characterized by his expressive vocals, electrifying harmonica skills, and charismatic stage presence. He has released numerous albums, with hits like "Chicken Heads" and "I Ain't Studdin' You," captivating audiences worldwide.
Known for his high-energy shows, Bobby Rush's concerts are a sensory experience, featuring storytelling, humor, and infectious grooves that showcase his ability to innovate while staying true to the authentic blues sound.
“I never thought I would be here this long,” says Rush. “I was 83 years old before I won a Grammy, but it’s better late than never. I laugh about it, but I’m so blessed and I surely never thought I’d be making a living doing what I’m doing. I’m not just an old guy on my way out.”
