Blues Legend Bobby Rush, a 3x GRAMMY winner, is celebrated for his dynamic performances and rich contributions to the blues genre. With a career spanning over six decades, he has earned a reputation as the "King of the Chitlin' Circuit" and is a Blues Hall of Famer.

Rush's music is a vibrant blend of blues, soul, and funk, characterized by his expressive vocals, electrifying harmonica skills, and charismatic stage presence. He has released numerous albums, with hits like "Chicken Heads" and "I Ain't Studdin' You," captivating audiences worldwide.

Known for his high-energy shows, Bobby Rush's concerts are a sensory experience, featuring storytelling, humor, and infectious grooves that showcase his ability to innovate while staying true to the authentic blues sound.

“I never thought I would be here this long,” says Rush. “I was 83 years old before I won a Grammy, but it’s better late than never. I laugh about it, but I’m so blessed and I surely never thought I’d be making a living doing what I’m doing. I’m not just an old guy on my way out.”

In the spirit of the blues, we've partnered with Paradise Vibes Smokehouse Food Truck. They’ll be serving up delicious southern-sA metallic, reflective trailer hitched to a pickup truck with an awning extended, parked in a driveway surrounded by greenery and buildings.tyle BBQ that will tantalize your taste buds with a symphony of smoke and spice! Arrive early to enjoy a plate before Bobby rocks the house—they’ll be serving from 5 pm to 8 pm. Look for the silver Airstream trailer parked outside Kahilu next to the Simperman Gallery.
