Syrian heart. Midwest soul.

Bassel & The Supernaturals blend deep funk, smooth soul, and stirring storytelling in a sound that’s both timeless and urgent. Led by first-generation Syrian-American Bassel Almadani, the band delivers captivating performances that explore themes of love, loss, identity, and the ongoing Syrian crisis. Their national PBS debut in The Express Way with Dulé Hill spotlighted their music’s power to heal and unite.

With influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to Jamiroquai, the band has performed over 400 shows nationwide—including SXSW, the Kennedy Center, and Millennium Park—and continues to raise awareness and support for Syrian refugees through their work with the Karam Foundation.

Expect a night of soulful grooves, powerful vocals, and a heartfelt journey that moves both the spirit and the dance floor.
