Amy Hānaialiʻi, a celebrated artist whose heritage spans Hawaiian, Ojibwe, Norwegian, and English roots, recently set out on a deeply personal journey to Norway and London to trace her ancestral lineage. This powerful exploration is featured in the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Family Ingredients. As Amy beautifully reflects, “Genealogy is one of the most important gifts from your ancestors. How do you know where you’re going if you don’t know where you come from?”

Through breathtaking imagery and heartfelt storytelling, this series features stunning visuals and deeply personal moments as Amy is joined by her beloved ʻohana, including acclaimed fashion designer and Kumu Hula, Micah Kamohoaliʻi, and the celebrated Hālau Nā Kīpuʻupuʻu. Together, they beckon you to embark on a remarkable journey through their extraordinary lineage, weaving mele, moʻokūʻauhau, and memory into a compelling voyage of identity and ancestral remembrance, inviting all of us to look back so we can move forward.

Enhance your experience by joining us before the concert for a pre-show wine tasting featuring selections from Amy Hānaiali‘i Wines, a premium Napa Valley collection crafted by Hawai‘i’s own award-winning vocalist and vintner. Known for their elegance and depth, these wines reflect Amy’s artistry—rooted in tradition, yet distinctly modern. This special add-on includes a guided tasting of several varietals from her collection, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience the flavors and story behind each pour before enjoying her live performance. 🍇 Click here to purchase tickets to the pre-show wine tasting.
