Step into a magical world of princes, dragons, fairies, and enchanted forests! In Once Upon a Stage, young performers will explore the magic of musical theatre through storytelling, singing, movement, and imaginative play. Campers will create their own fairytale adventure and perform a short showcase for families at the end of the week. Perfect for young actors who love dressing up, pretending, and bringing stories to life!
Calling all heroes in training! In Superhero Training Academy, campers will discover their unique superpowers through acting games, singing, creative movement, and storytelling. Together they’ll create a heroic musical adventure where teamwork saves the day. The week concludes with a fun performance where campers show off their superhero skills!
Dive into a musical adventure beneath the waves! In Under the Sea Spectacular, young performers will explore the ocean through acting, music, dance, and creative play. Campers will become mermaids, sea turtles, pirates, and more while building their own underwater musical story to share in a special end-of-week performance.
RISING STARS PERFORMING ARTS CAMP – Building confidence through singing, dancing, and performance

Designed for elementary-age performers, this full-day Musical Theatre Camp focuses on singing, dancing, and bringing musical numbers to life on stage. Campers will learn choreography, vocal techniques, and performance skills inspired by popular musical theatre while building confidence, rhythm, and stage presence. Through energetic movement, music, and ensemble work, students experience the joy of performing in a fun and supportive environment.
Backstage Boot Camp – Make the Magic Happen
Dates: Session 1: June 1–5 ; Session 2: June 8–12
Instructors: Erin McClure & Kristin Lake
Ages: 12–18
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Tuition: $325 or $600 for both sessions
This hands-on technical theatre camp introduces students to every element of backstage production—from lighting and sound to set construction, props, and stage management. Under the guidance of Erin McClure and Kristin Lake, participants will learn practical skills, collaborate as a crew, and gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of how live theatre comes to life. Students will be building sets, props and puppets for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
Scholarships available.
Dive into the foundations of stagecraft with set building, scenic painting, and lighting design. Students will work hands-on to construct and transform the stage environment, learning the tools and techniques that create the world of the show.
Students will be building sets for The Lightning Thief – The Percy Jackson Musical.
Shift into storytelling through detail with puppet building, prop design, and lighting, while also stepping into real production roles as part of the backstage crew for Rising Stars Performing Arts Camp. Participants will gain practical experience supporting a live performance environment.
Students will be designing & building sets, props and puppets for The Lightning Thief – The Percy Jackson Musical.
Broadway Bound Musical Theatre Summer Intensive – A pre-professional training experience focusing on acting, singing, dance, and performance.

Actors will dive into the world of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief in this two-week musical theatre intensive. Students will train in acting, singing, and choreography while rehearsing for a fully staged production. Led by Delaney McGrath, Mario Flores, & Kathy Chase, participants will strengthen their performance skills and bring this popular musical to the Kahilu stage.
Auditions TBD. Everyone who auditions will be cast. Must be registered to audition. Scholarships available.
